For the Hult Prize national stage, we present Stitch for Good, where people turn their old clothes into personalized crochet pieces and made on demand. Instead of throwing clothes away, users can redesign them into something new that fits their style, using a simple customization process powered by AI. We started by collecting real user interest, testing different materials, and creating our first upcycled products with locally sourced textiles. Today, our model connects customers who want to give a second life to their clothes with women artisans who bring each design to life by hand. This creates a new source of income for artisans while reducing textile waste in a practical and accessible way. Our goal is to make sustainable fashion something people can actively participate in, not just consume.
